Our Story

STARTED SMALL. STAYED LOCAL.

In 2004, we opened our first store with a straightforward idea: run a clean, honest convenience store that people in the community could count on. No big corporate playbook — just good operations, fair prices, and a genuine investment in the neighborhoods we serve.

Twenty years later, that's still the idea. We've grown to a network of locations across Wisconsin, but the approach hasn't changed. We find stores that need some love, put real work into them, and hand them back to their communities in better shape than we found them.

What We're About

SIMPLE THINGS, DONE RIGHT.

Local First

Every store is a long-term commitment to its neighborhood — local jobs, local vendors, and genuine local investment.

Better Stores

We take underperforming sites and make them genuinely better — cleaner, safer, and more useful to the communities they serve.

Fair Prices

Competitive fuel and a well-stocked pantry that doesn't gouge you. That's the deal we make with every community.

Steady Growth

We grow carefully — acquiring sites we can genuinely improve, not just add to a spreadsheet.

How We Got Here

TWENTY YEARS, ONE STORE AT A TIME.

2004

The Beginning

Opened our first location in Wisconsin. Learned the business from the ground up — shelves, fuel lanes, and all.

2004 – 2010

Building the Foundation

Focused on acquiring single sites one at a time — each carefully chosen, each turned around from the ground up. We were buying individual locations, learning every corner of the business, and building the vendor relationships and operating systems that still run our stores today.

2011 – 2014

Single-Site Growth

Continued our disciplined approach of acquiring single sites across Wisconsin. Each location was an opportunity to improve the customer experience, upgrade fuel systems, and invest in the surrounding community — one store at a time.

2015 – 2019

Turnaround & Upgrade

Focused on acquiring sites that needed improvement and turning them around — upgrading fuel systems, interiors, and customer experience across a growing number of locations.

2018 – 2022

Building the Infrastructure

Shifted our mindset from single-site operator to multi-site company. We invested in the software, systems, and team needed to run a growing network — centralizing billing, pricing, and back-office operations so each store manager could focus on the customer, not the paperwork. It wasn't easy, but we built the foundation that makes everything else possible: consistent operations, local decision-making, and a team that knows how to scale.

2019 – 2025

Portfolio Acquisitions

Acquired portfolios and assets from well-established Wisconsin companies — including Cooper Oil, Travel Mart, Handy Mart, Levenhagen Oil, Capitol Petroleum, and others. Many of these owners were proud of what they had built in their communities and were intentional about who they sold to. We were honored to be their choice. We retained existing employees at every location, preserved the special traditions and community practices each store was known for, and reinvested immediately into each site — carrying their legacy forward under a new name.

Today

Growing Strong

A growing network of locations across Wisconsin — especially around Madison and throughout rural Wisconsin. Same goal as day one.

Honoring Every Legacy

The previous owners who chose to sell to us weren’t just closing a business — they were passing on something they had spent decades building. We take that seriously. At every location we’ve acquired, we’ve made it a priority to preserve the special touches, community traditions, and local character that made each store unique. Their customers still feel at home. Their employees still show up. Their legacy lives on — just with a fresh coat of paint and a full tank of investment behind it.

WE'RE NOT JUST PASSING THROUGH.
WE LIVE HERE TOO.

Every store we open is a neighbor. We plan to be around for the long haul — and we take that seriously.
